is the sister of the world renowned Animal Behaviourist Dr Ian Dunbar. Amongst
many accolades, Ian is famous for developing the very first ever off-leash puppy
training programme "Sirius Puppy Training", acknowledged by the American APDT as
unsurpassed and voted number one by leading professionals.
Barking Jones is, therefore, literally the sister company to Ian Dunbar's
Californian based James and Kenneth Publishers, which also has branches in
Australia and Canada. We aim to bring you the very best in animal care
publications from Dr Ian Dunbar and a whole collection of other outstanding
writers who share Ian's inspired vision of gentle but effective training.
We stock a wide range of books and DVDs - adding to our list all the time. Books
are mainly imported from the USA and DVDs reproduced for UK and European formats
locally in South Wales.
Barking Jones also run behaviour training seminars each year with exciting
speakers, all of them celebrities in the behaviourist world - Ian Dunbar (goes
without saying), Jean Donaldson, Nicole Wilde and Pamela Reid to name but a few.
